Milgrom Doubles Through Zektser

Level 31
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Nicolas Milgrom opened to 700,000 from the cutoff and Igor Zektser announced a pot-sized raise from the button, enough to put Milgrom all in. Milgrom called off with his remaining stack of around 700,000, putting himself at risk.
Nicolas Milgrom: A♦J♣J♦6♦5♠
Igor Zektser: K♠J♥10♦8♥8♦
Milgrom's pair of jacks were still good for the high on the 3♥K♠8♥ flop, but Zektser had a ton of outs to either scoop or take half with a flush draw, live overcards and the nut-low draw. Miraculously for Milgrom, the 8♦ turn and 10♦ river were bricks. No low was possible and his two pair, jacks and eights were good for a full double up.
"Who said two jacks were bad?" Milgrom joked.
"What an amazing hold" Joshua Biedak commented as Milgrom dragged in the pot.
